I Draw ZombieS

This project is funded by anyone that wants to see themselves or someone else as a zombie.

For every minimum donation of at least $15, another zombie is created.

If you’ve always wanted a zombie portrait of yourself, or perhaps your friend or even your entire family, now is the chance to get it done without draining your wallet, and to help create a massive zombie horde art exhibit.

The reason to get this funded by the public is to avoid any type of government red tape, speed up the creation of the horde and to allow anyone in the world to take part, and be a part, of this exhibit.

For every zombie you fund and create, you will get a high resolution scan emailed to you to print out, hang on your wall, create your own personal tshirt with, or put it on a coffee mug.

The only thing you can’t do is sell products with that image on it.

Work is underway to offer other bonuses, like draws for other zombie related prizes, but nothing is solid yet.

This is going to be a constantly evolving art project, so stay tuned.

All funds will be going towards buying the paper, pens and paint to create 1000 zombies as well as the materials to frame and showcase the horde.

Since I will not be taking any extra commissions until this project is complete, the funds also go towards allowing me to keep living, creating, and by fortunate default, feeding my family.

Zombies serve so many different uses, especially in todays society where we are constantly bombarded with images of photoshoped perfection and glamour, of people living a life that others could only dream about. We are fed a constant stream of information telling us how better our life would be if we bought this product, ate that food, dress like those people over there and act like the world owes us all this and so much more. It’s a smoke screened curtain of deception designed to prevent you and I from being happy to just be ourselves.

Bring in the zombie and it doesn’t care who you are, where you buy your clothes or what type of company you associate with. It doesn’t know the difference between a rolex or a timex, a Louis Vuitton handbag or one you bought at walmart, and it doesn’t care. They have 1 focus only and once the zombie gets a hold of you, and infects you, an amazing thing happens … you no longer care about any of those things either. You suddenly become very focused as well.

The zombie is the great undead equalizer in this game of life and it would be wise to learn from them.

When you fund a zombie, please leave a comment in one of the text box fields to tell me who you are, who you want zombified, and how bloody you want the zombie to be. You can also specify a skin color too, if you wish.
